Inconel® 718 fasteners

Inconel® 718 fasteners are made from nickel-based alloys known for their resistance to oxidation and corrosion, allowing them to perform exceptionally well in high-heat, high-pressure environments. These corrosion resistant fasteners retain their strength and shape over a wide temperature range and do not exhibit the creep that aluminum and steel products do during temperature changes. Inconel® 718 screws, bolts, nuts, and studs require special machining to prevent deformation and brittleness caused by work hardening. They are often threaded using lathes and screw machines.

Common uses for Inconel® 718 Fasteners

  • Components used in high temperature applications, such as heat exchangers, engines and exhaust systems
  • Components used in chemical  and corrosive processing environments
  • Components that are exposed to temperature variations such as chillers.

Eastwood Manufacturing offers custom Inconel® 718 fasteners. Our staff specializes in working with non-standard materials and has the experience to accommodate the specific properties of specialty and hard-to-machine materials, ensuring that your fastener that will meet your exact application requirements and maintain its corrosion resistant properties.  We offer full CNC machining and forging production facilities and can manufacture your fastener to exacting tolerances with custom sizes, shapes, and thread configurations. In addition, our fasteners are manufactured to MIL-I 45208 standards and we can manufacture to ASTM, SAE, DIN and customer-defined specifications if required.

We are committed to manufacturing the highest quality Inconel® 718 fasteners, and our experienced staff will work with you from your initial call through delivery of a production-ready product to ensure that your part is manufactured to your exact specifications.
